likus concept store

I carried out this project with my friend Juan Zardini for Arek Likus. Marcin from JamJam architectural studio was also on-site during construction and was a great help! My favorite element of this project, the background of the shop’s facade, is made of oiled strips of corten steel. The heavy steel strips were suspended from original, existing concrete ceiling beams, therefore civil engineering calculations were required.

For the main room, we designed a suspended wooden ceiling finished in walnut veneer. The ceiling hangs off a steel frame that is painted matte black. All pieces of furniture were designed to be clean-lined and are finished in oak veneer. All photos taken by Arek Uroda, thanks!
